Vision and Innovation
Given its worldwide reputation for cloud innovation and diversity, Seattle is the ideal home for automotive industries and associated motorsport endeavors to benefit from Pacific Raceways' commitment to feature a mobility incubation hub.
A historic motorsports venue ready to enable the future, Phase One of a planned $200M expansion of the Pacific Innovation Center and Motorsports Park is underway.
The track played an essential role during the initial heyday of professional sports car racing in the U.S. when it hosted the Pacific Northwest Grand Prix, SCCA Trans-Am Series, Formula 5000, USAC Champ Car, and NASCAR Winston West Series. The last of which was won in 1985 by NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt.
Today, 2024, the Pacific Innovation Center is being designed and built to host organizations working to create clean energy and sustainable mobility solutions by leveraging motorsports. The goal is to become the 1st raceway to foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and technological advancements to address the future of mobility.
